Why parents start here
Many parents arrive at Latimer knowing roughly what they need (a GCSE Maths tutor, an A Level English specialist, eleven-plus prep) but not which tutor to pick. The matching brief is the fastest way to hand the shortlist work to our team without committing to a particular tutor first.
- Pay-as-you-go tuition: no contract and no minimum commitment when you do book a lesson.
- Every tutor on Latimer is DBS-checked and reviewed before they can take live clients.
- Lesson reports and homework support are arranged directly with the tutor you choose.
What we do with the brief
We only use the details you share to put together a short list of tutors that fit. Your contact details stay on Latimer’s matching inbox; we do not pass them to tutors until you decide who to message. If you change your mind, reply to the confirmation email and we will close the brief.
- Subject and level are matched against tutors with current capacity.
- Goal, timing, and budget narrow the shortlist before we email you.
- If we cannot find a strong fit, we will say so honestly rather than send a weak match.
