  • 1. Sign up as a Latimer Tuition Affiliate

Become an Affiliate today! Signing up is quick and easy. You'll receive your login details, allowing you to manage your affiliate account, including adding your pay-out bank account details.

  • 2. Refer clients to us

Refer a Client to us using our form. This will create the client's profile in our system, and you will be assigned as their affiliate.

  • 3. We'll handle the rest

We will manage this client just like we do with all our other clients. They will be added to our pipeline, and we will present them with tutor options to consider.

  • 4. Monthly commission payments

Within 5 working days of the first of each month, we will generate a payment order for your account and transfer the commission due to your designated bank account on file.

£115 is the average earnings for affiliates from previous Latimer Tuition clients who start paying their invoices. Actual earnings may vary based on the client’s engagement and duration of services, and we cannot guarantee this amount will be paid. However, we can guarantee that you will receive 50% of all net commissions (Latimer Tuition's Commission) that we earn from the clients you refer.

  • How is the commission (due to Latimer Tuition's Affiliates) calculated?

We bill our clients on a per-lesson basis. Once a client of yours pays an invoice, our system automatically adds a new line item to your draft payment order. This payment order will be finalised and paid within 5 working days following the first of each month.

  • How quickly do you pay the £115?

This varies depending on the client’s lifetime. On average, £115 is earned per client (see the breakdown above for details on this figure). Client usage of our services can range from 1 month to over 5 years, with the average being around 12 months.
For example, if you refer 100 paying clients to us, you will receive approximately £11,500.00 (+ VAT if you're registered) after 12 months.

  • Can I continue working with a referred client myself?

Yes! This is a no-strings-attached referral. We won’t restrict you or the client you’ve referred from continuing to communicate or do business together.
However, if you engage with the client after the referral (for example, by offering additional tutoring services), it could affect their involvement with Latimer Tuition, which in turn may impact your commission payments.

  • Who can be an affiliate?

Anyone with a UK bank account can be an affiliate with us. We work with companies, individuals, sole traders, charities, and more. If you feel you don’t fully meet our criteria but are still interested in participating, please feel free to reach out to us.

  • Is there a cap on how much I can earn from a single referral or overall?

There’s no limit on the number of referrals you can make or the amount you can earn per referral. Client spending ranges from as little as £30 to top spenders who pay around £15,000+. Regardless of how much your referred client spends on lessons, we will honour our agreement and pay you 50% of all commissions collected from that client.

Will I receive ongoing commissions for the lifetime of the client?

Yes, we believe it's unfair to limit payments to a specific period. Therefore, we will continue to pay you commissions as long as your client remains engaged with Latimer, your bank account remains active, and Latimer Tuition is in operation.
If we encounter any issues transferring funds to your account, we will request your new account details and backdate our payments to ensure everything is up to date!

What payment methods do you offer?

For clients, we accept online card payments and bank transfers. Commissions will be paid to affiliates via bank transfer.

  • Who qualifies as a referral? Are there any restrictions?

We reserve the right to decline referrals. This may occur if the client, paying individual, or student is already registered in our system, or if another affiliate has previously referred them.

  • Can I refer someone outside my usual network (friends, colleagues, etc.)?

Yes! As long as they meet the criteria for a valid referral (see the FAQ question above), we have no issue if you already have an existing professional or personal relationship with the client.

  • Is there a time limit for earning commissions on a referral?

No, once this client is created in our system, you will be the associated affiliate. Their prior relationship or status before using our services will not affect this. We will begin and continue paying commissions throughout the client's lifetime.

  • What happens if a referred client doesn’t sign up immediately?

Similar to the FAQ question above, that's fine. You will still be entitled to any commissions as usual if they start using our services later on.

  • Do you provide any marketing materials or guidance to help me promote Latimer Tuition?

Apologies, but we don't have that option yet. However, you’re welcome to share our contact details and information with them. If you have suggestions on how we could better support you, we would love to hear from you; please get in touch.

  • Who can I contact if I have questions or issues with the affiliate program?

    Please contact Latimer Tuition directly.

  • Is there a limit to how many people I can refer?

There is no limit on the number of referrals you can make or the amount you can earn per referral. However, we are not obligated to continue accepting referrals from you due to quality concerns or other reasons, and we will communicate any warnings or intentions to you. We will continue to pay commissions for the clients you have already referred.

  • What happens after I refer a client? How will they be contacted?

We track all of our clients in our pipeline. Based on the information we have, we will either recommend one or more tutors immediately, or reach out to request additional details about their requirements. We're not pushy, and if the client isn't ready to proceed right away, we will follow up with them in the future.

  • Do I get any updates about the clients I refer?

Unless in exceptional circumstances, we do not provide regular updates to affiliates (however we will continue providing your client's payment activity updates within your online account). You are welcome to stay in contact with the clients you've referred. If you believe there is an issue that needs to be addressed, please contact us.

Are there any rules regarding how I promote Latimer Tuition?

Please be truthful, open, and honest! We are not obligated to work with affiliates, and if you act in a way that is not in the best interest of Latimer Tuition, we may discontinue our partnership. However, we will continue to pay out commissions for all the previous clients you've referred to us.

  • How do you deal with VAT?

All the figures on this page are exclusive of VAT. When you Become an Affiliate, we will ask if you are VAT registered. If you are, VAT at 20% will be automatically added to your payment orders. If your VAT or tax status changes, please contact us urgently.

  • Would we have a contract?

This will be a "Gentlemen's Agreement," and all our intentions are outlined on this page. For your records, please ensure that your communication with us is documented in writing. We will fulfil our part of the agreement. If you require a contact, we will respectfully decline.

  • What if you change your commission percentage offer?

For existing clients, we will not change your commission rate! We guarantee that the initial commission percentage will be maintained throughout the client's lifetime. Any revised commission percentage (which you will be notified of if it occurs) will only apply to new referrals, allowing you to decide if you’d like to continue working with us as an affiliate.
