Tutoring brief

What subject do you need help with?

Popular subjects

Choose a suggestion or type your own answer. You can skip this if you’re unsure.

This form works best for one learner at one level and up to six subjects. If your circumstances are more complicated, email us at Contact@LatimerTuition.com so you can explain everything properly.

Free, no obligation, and pay-as-you-go — you only pay once you've chosen a tutor and booked your first lesson.

What happens next

What happens after your enquiry

  1. We read your request

Our matching team reviews your request during UK working hours.

  2. We shortlist tutors

When suitable tutors are available, we email you up to three DBS-checked options based on what you share.

  3. You choose

Message the tutor(s) you like through Latimer. No obligation to book.

Why families start here

You may know exactly what you need, have only a subject or level in mind, or still be deciding. The short enquiry lets you hand the search to our matching team without committing to a particular tutor first.

  • Pay-as-you-go tuition: no contract and no minimum commitment when you do book a lesson.
  • Every tutor on Latimer is DBS-checked and reviewed before they can take live clients.
  • Lesson reports and homework support are arranged directly with the tutor you choose.

What we do with your request

We use your contact details and the tutoring information you share to respond to your enquiry and look for suitable tutors. We do not pass your contact details to tutors until you decide who to message. See our Privacy Policy for other uses of contact details. If you change your mind, reply to our email and we will close the request.

  • Subject and level are optional. You can use a suggestion, type your own answer, or skip either question.
  • If you skip both subject and level, describe how we can help in your own words.
  • If we cannot find a suitable fit, we will say so honestly rather than send a weak match.

Frequently asked questions

Straight answers to the questions people ask most often.

How quickly will you reply?

We review matching requests during UK working hours. If suitable tutors are available, our team will reply by email with options and explain the next steps.

Is there an obligation to book?

No. The matching service is free and you are under no obligation. Latimer charges per-lesson only after you book a tutor and have your first session.

Can I see profiles before submitting the brief?

Yes — visit Find a Tutor to browse and filter every available tutor. The matching request is for parents and students who would prefer Latimer to do the filtering.

What if I do not know the subject or level?

Skip anything you are unsure about. If you skip both subject and level, the form will ask you to describe the support you need in your own words.

How will you contact me?

We reply by email. If you provide a mobile number, we may use SMS or WhatsApp as a fallback, but we will not call.
