Become a Latimer Tuition Affiliate Today

A practical guide to joining Latimer’s affiliate programme, choosing a referral form and checking commissions. Earnings vary; £115 is an average, not guaranteed.

Published 10 Feb 2025By Robin Gibbons

This guide explains how to join Latimer’s affiliate programme, make a referral and check commissions. For current eligibility, earnings, forms and payout terms, use the affiliate programme page.

Understand the commission before joining

Affiliates receive 50% of Latimer Tuition’s net commission from the clients they refer. The programme page currently quotes around £115 per paying client as an average, not a guaranteed payment. Actual income depends on lesson volume, how long a client remains active and the commission Latimer collects.

Latimer’s standard commission is usually 25%, which often makes an affiliate’s share around 12.5% of the relevant lesson amount, with VAT treatment where applicable. Promotions can reduce Latimer’s commission on new referrals and therefore the amount due to the affiliate. Do not use a fixed 12.5% or £115 figure as a promise to someone else.

Create your affiliate account

Start with the programme page’s affiliate application. The form asks for contact and business details needed to create your record. Latimer then emails login details so you can access your account and monitor linked clients.

Use the secure application or account process for payment details. Check that your UK bank and business details are current, and tell Latimer if your VAT or tax status changes. Do not send bank information through a public comment or social-media post.

Choose the right referral route

The programme page links to two referral forms. Use the route that fits the information you have and make sure the person knows you are sharing their details with Latimer.

  • Full referral: use this when you have the payer and student details, year group, level and subjects needed for matching.
  • Quick referral: use this when you have only the referred person’s basic contact details. Latimer can log them against your affiliate account and request the remaining information.

Use your registered affiliate email so Latimer can identify the right account. Check the details before sending and avoid submitting the same referral repeatedly. The current programme page contains the live forms and instructions.

Check your dashboard and linked clients

Inside your affiliate account you can review linked clients, commissions due and commissions already paid. When a referred client pays an invoice, a line item is added to your draft payment order.

The connected forms and session-management system help link referrals to affiliate records; no system can promise that every entry is error-free. If a referral or payment appears missing, contact Latimer with the relevant reference and date so the team can investigate. Keep private client and account information out of public messages.

Understand payment timing and variable earnings

The current programme process finalises and pays payment orders within five working days of the first of each month. Earnings depend on paid client activity; a referral does not create a guaranteed monthly income.

There is no cap on valid referrals or the amount you can earn from an active client under the current programme. Ongoing commission remains subject to the programme’s stated conditions. Some clients use tuition briefly and others for longer, so avoid treating a possible long engagement as a predictable income stream.

Use the current programme page for the next step

Check the affiliate programme’s current terms and referral forms before joining or making a new referral. This article remains a practical guide; the programme page is the reference for current commercial details. If you need help with an account or a referral, contact Latimer Tuition.
