Having gone through A levels and the university admissions process recently, she understands the pressure of keeping up with difficult subjects and how frustrating it is to not have a solid understanding.

With over 5 years of tutoring experience in both individual and group settings, she is able to identify and adapt to her students' individual abilities and needs. She has experience teaching various subjects at levels from 11+ to A Levels so is familiar with the content and new syllabus, and has come across many different learning styles which she is adept at targeting effectively.

Hashira Syed is a UK-based mathematics tutor and biology tutor, specialising in supporting students from Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3 through to GCSE, AS Level and A Level. She also tutors 11+ (general), and can support GCSE Business Studies as well as English Language and English Literature at Key Stage 2, Key Stage 3, 11+ and GCSE.

Currently a Medical Student at Imperial College London, Hashira brings strong, recent academic experience to her tuition. She achieved A*, A, A in Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics at A Level, and earned 10 A*s and 1 A at GCSE, including English Language, English Literature, Mathematics and the sciences. She has also taken part in multiple UK Chemistry and Mathematics challenges, regularly progressing through to Olympiad level.

With over 5 years of tutoring experience in both one-to-one and group settings, Hashira is used to adapting sessions to each student’s ability, needs and learning style—especially for students who feel pressure to keep up with demanding content or who want a clearer, more confident understanding of key topics. Her rate is £35.00 per hour, and she provides lesson reports after each session; homework can also be arranged free of charge.
