Esther Norman

Esther has been a full-time online English language and literature tutor for four years. During her time as an online English literature and language tutor, she has been tutoring and supporting KS3 and KS4 students and has developed an extensive knowledge of the National Curriculum. As most of her experience is with KS4 GCSE students, Esther has acquired a broad knowledge and is very familiar with the content of GCSE English language and literature.

Having taught an array of students, Esther understands that all students are individual and the importance of understanding a student's learning style. She is very passionate about students progressing throughout their tuition and achieving their goals and targets. As Esther was part of the first year of students to take their A-level exams in 2021 during the Covid-19 pandemic, she understands the impact of exam confidence and prides herself on confidence building.

Esther Norman is a UK-based English tutor who delivers one-to-one online tutoring in English Language and English Literature for Key Stage 3 and GCSE students. She is a full-time online English tutor and has taught 1000+ online lessons to date, with most of her experience focused on KS4 GCSE preparation and a strong working knowledge of the National Curriculum.

As a GCSE English tutor, Esther supports students across AQA, Edexcel and Eduqas specifications, helping them build subject understanding alongside clear exam confidence. She is particularly mindful that every student learns differently, and adapts each session to the student’s learning style, goals and targets, with an emphasis on steady progress and confidence building.

Esther holds an A-Level in English Literature and achieved A*, A* in GCSE English Language and English Literature. She charges £25.00 per hour, provides lesson reports after each session, and can arrange homework free of charge for students who want structured practice between lessons.
