Hamza Khan

Hamza is currently studying Medicine (MBBS) at King's College London. He has over four years of tutoring experience, both in small groups and on a one-to-one basis. As a tutor, Hamza believes that a strong understanding of the basic concepts of a topic are key to achieving highly. He aims to set these strong foundations with his students, upon which building concepts further becomes far easier. As a student, Hamza found success in 'personalising' his studies, coming up with analogies for tricky concepts to make them easier to digest, and he enjoys helping his students do the same to foster a love for learning.

Hamza has experience in tutoring a wide range of GCSE subjects including Biology, Chemistry, Maths and Statistics, as well as A-level Biology and KS3 Maths. As a recent medical applicant, Hamza is also keen to help other medical applicants with the admissions process including the UCAT and interviews.

Hamza is studying Medicine (MBBS) at King’s College London and has over four years of tutoring experience in one-to-one and small-group settings. He has also achieved A* and A grades in A-Level Biology and Psychology, 13 A*s at GCSE, and placed in the top 8% for the UCAT.

Hamza focuses on establishing a secure understanding of core concepts before progressing to more complex material. He personalises learning by using analogies to make difficult ideas easier to understand, helping students develop their own ways of approaching unfamiliar topics.

He is also able to support medical applicants with the UCAT and interviews. Lesson reports are provided after each session, and homework can be arranged at no extra charge.
