Kamsi Duru

Kamsi is a dedicated medical student with a strong passion for teaching and mentoring. Having faced his own academic challenges in the past, he understands the value of perseverance and effective learning strategies, which he now shares with his students.

He has experience tutoring GCSE and A-level Chemistry and Biology, as well as supporting students with their medical school applications, including personal statements, entrance exams, and interview preparation.

Drawing on his own experience of being tutored, Kamsi ensures that his lessons are engaging, supportive, and tailored to each student’s learning style. His approach focuses on building understanding, confidence, and long-term study habits that help students reach their full potential.

Kamsi Duru is a dedicated medical student currently studying for his MBBS in Medicine at Kent and Medway Medical School, with a strong passion for teaching and mentoring. He tutors Biology, Chemistry and Psychology, supporting learners from Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3 through to GCSE, AS Level and A Level (Psychology at GCSE, AS and A Level).

Academically, Kamsi achieved A*, A, A at A Level in Psychology, Biology and Chemistry, and earned an A** plus 5 A*s at GCSE (including Triple Science, Maths and English). He brings this subject knowledge into clear, structured tuition that helps students build secure understanding and better study habits over time.

Kamsi has experience as a GCSE Biology tutor and GCSE Chemistry tutor, and also supports students with medical school applications, including personal statements, entrance exams and interview preparation. Having faced his own academic challenges and benefited from tutoring himself, he aims to make lessons engaging, supportive and tailored to each student’s learning style, with a focus on confidence as well as content.

Kamsi’s private tutoring rate is £25.00 per hour. He provides lesson reports after each session, and homework can be arranged free of charge.
