Zakariya Balogun

Zakariya is a first-year medical student at the University of Birmingham studying MBChB, with A grades in A-Level Biology, Chemistry and Geography. He tutors GCSE students in these subjects, using a structured and exam-focused approach to build both understanding and confidence.

During secondary school and sixth form, Zakariya supported younger students by providing exam advice and revision guidance, helping them approach assessments strategically rather than relying on memorisation. He places strong emphasis on exam technique, including interpreting command words and structuring high-mark answers effectively.

He has also supported aspiring medical students through the application and interview process, offering mock interview practice and structured feedback to help them communicate clearly and confidently.
