About Tia
Tia is an enthusiastic and personable Maths and Science tutor, and has over two years of experience tutoring up to GCSE Level. Currently working towards her Masters of Science in Chemistry at the University of York, she has a strong analytical background, and applies her knowledge appropriately to aid students of all backgrounds and skill levels to help them achieve academically.
With experience tutoring online and in-person, both 1:1 and in groups, Tia also has experience working alongside SEN students across various subjects. Her lessons are tailored directly to what a student needs, with an emphasis on gaining confidence with weak points and developing good exam technique.
Tia also believes that in order to fully apply the Sciences, a solid grasp of their respective foundations is important. She approaches lessons with this focus steadily underpinning her tuition, to ensure that your child understands its importance even beyond exams.
