Nagaratna Gururaj

Nagaratna is a motivated and reliable tutor currently studying at UCL Medical School, bringing together strong academic knowledge with over five years of tutoring experience. Throughout her tutoring journey, she has developed excellent communication, adaptability and mentoring skills, allowing her to tailor lessons to each student’s individual learning style and goals.

Passionate about education, Nagaratna believes that every student has the potential to succeed when given the right support and encouragement. She particularly enjoys helping students build confidence in subjects they may have previously found challenging, transforming difficult concepts into engaging and understandable ideas. Her approach focuses not only on improving academic performance but also on inspiring curiosity, independence and a genuine interest in learning.

With experience supporting students across a range of abilities and age groups, Nagaratna provides tuition in A-Level Biology and Chemistry, as well as GCSE Biology, Chemistry, KS3 Science, Maths and English. Her background in medicine allows her to bring a deeper understanding of scientific concepts, while her friendly and encouraging teaching style helps students feel comfortable asking questions and developing confidence in their abilities.

Nagaratna is currently studying Medicine at UCL Medical School and has over five years of tutoring experience. She supports learners across a range of ages and abilities, including GCSE Biology and Chemistry, KS3 Science, Maths and English, as well as A-Level Biology, Chemistry and Psychology. She also teaches 11+ Mathematics and English Language.
