Htoo Htet

Htoo is an experienced online tutor currently pursuing a First-Class degree in Financial Economics. With over two years of tutoring students from 13+ to A Level in Business, Economics, and Mathematics, she provides tailored lessons supported by extensive resources, homework, and practice questions.

Htoo really enjoys working with students on a one-to-one basis, as it makes her feel connected to each individual student. This connection allows her to better understand their learning pace, areas of interest, and weaknesses. She is highly passionate about all the subjects she teaches and provides additional resources—such as reading materials, exercises, and activities—to inspire students to love and explore the subject with enthusiasm.

When she’s not preparing lessons for her students, you’ll probably find her playing music, cooking, or roller-skating!

Htoo Htet is an online maths tutor and Economics and Business Studies specialist, currently studying for a BSc in Financial Economics at Kingston University. She achieved A* grades at A-Level in Accounting, Business, Economics, and Mathematics, and also holds nine GCSE grades 9–7.

As a private tutor, Htoo teaches Mathematics across Key Stage 2, Key Stage 3, 11+, iGCSE and GCSE (including targeted support for Grade 5–8), and offers Economics up to A Level as well as Business Studies at iGCSE and GCSE. She also tutors Accounting, and draws on her experience working in an in-person tutoring facility alongside qualified teachers to keep lessons clear, structured, and focused on what students need most.

Students can expect tailored online tutoring with plenty of practice questions and resources, with homework available free of charge when helpful. Htoo teaches one-to-one so she can quickly understand each student’s pace, interests, and weaker areas, and she provides lesson reports after every session. Her rate is £25.00 per hour.
