Smriti Rathi

Smriti, a dedicated educator, holds a PGCE (Maths) with QTS from Sheffield Hallam University. For 10 years, she's taught Maths and Accounting to students in years 7-11, adeptly addressing various abilities. Prior, she worked as an accountant at CEMEX UK Operations for six years.

Her teaching excellence shines through effective communication, adapting lessons to individual students' prior knowledge, and fostering responsible study habits with real-world relevance. She crafts personalized learning plans, employs diverse teaching methods, and imparts subject expertise with patience.

Smriti's classrooms are interactive, leveraging visual aids, colours, videos, and active student participation. She believes in sharing knowledge with compassion, generosity, and an unwavering commitment to her students' growth.

Smriti Rathi holds a PGCE in Mathematics with QTS from Sheffield Hallam University, alongside first-class degrees in Commerce and Accounting and Finance from the University of Delhi. She is also a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and previously worked as an accountant for CEMEX UK Operations.

She has taught Maths and Accounting to Years 7–11 learners for 10 years, working with a range of abilities. Smriti supports Mathematics from KS2 to GCSE, including 11+ and 13+, as well as GCSE Business Studies and Accountancy and Accounting through to A-Level and International Baccalaureate.

Smriti adapts lessons to each learner's prior knowledge and creates personalised learning plans. Her interactive approach uses visual aids, colour, videos and active participation, while connecting learning to real-world contexts. She also encourages responsible study habits and can arrange homework and provide a lesson report after each session.
