About Mandy
Mandy has a master’s degree in Professional Accounting and has been an accountant for over 30 years. With over 18 years’ experience as a teacher, lecturer and private tutor across schools, colleges, and universities, Mandy is deeply committed to fostering a love of learning and helping students achieve their full potential. Mandy has previously owned and run a Kumon Study Centre and has been tutoring maths online for many years.
Her tutoring approach is highly personalised, focusing on both academic success and personal growth, tailored to each student’s unique strengths and goals. Mandy continuously strives to support learners in a way that inspires confidence and excellence.
Mandy McCarthy FCCA, MSc is a qualified accounting and maths teacher offering private tutoring at £35.00 per hour. With over 30 years’ experience as an educator across schools, colleges, and universities, plus a decade as a private tutor, she brings deep subject knowledge and a calm, supportive approach to each session.
Mandy holds a teaching qualification and has taught Maths in several schools in the Midlands. She has also been teaching A Level Accounting and AAT (all levels) for over 18 years. More recently she has been teaching on the BA Professional Accounting degree course.
Mandy is available to teach primary and secondary Maths up to GCSE, AAT and accounting and business degree modules.
