Heather Denbigh

Heather has just returned from studying and working in Spain for the last year. She is currently studying Mechanical Engineering with Spanish at the University of Sheffield. This course harnesses her love for applying the theory learnt in the classroom to solve real world problems with practical applications. Heather plays in multiple team sports, enjoys climbing, outdoor adventure and generally being active.

Heather loves to explore different cultures and experience the way of life all over the world. She can continue developing this interest and broaden her perspective by studying Spanish as part of her degree.

Heather takes pride in her work and enjoys the creativity that can be brought online classroom. She uses a range of methods and adapts to suit each individual tutee.

Heather Denbigh is a science and maths tutor who specialises in Mathematics and Further Maths, offering supportive online tutoring for Key Stage 2, Key Stage 3, 11+, 13+ and GCSE. She is currently studying for a Mechanical Engineering (integrated with Spanish) Masters at the University of Sheffield, and enjoys helping students connect classroom theory to real-world problem solving.

Academically, Heather achieved A*, A*, A*, A*, A at A-Level in Maths, Physics, Sports Science, Spanish and English, along with 8 A*+s and 3 As at GCSE. She has also recently returned from studying and working in Spain, and continues to develop her Spanish alongside her engineering degree.

In lessons, students can expect a tailored approach: Heather uses a range of methods and adapts her teaching to suit each individual tutee, bringing creativity to the online classroom. She provides lesson reports after each session, and homework can be arranged free of charge to help students consolidate learning between lessons.
