Biography
Unsa is currently studying Medicine (MBChB) at the University of Sheffield. She is committed to providing student-focused sessions, believing that interactive learning and developing an excellent rapport with students are at the heart of effective tutoring. Her lessons begin by outlining the aims and ensuring the basic concepts are grasped first. She then moves on to more in-depth ideas and challenging exam-style questions to consolidate the pupil’s learning. Finally, targets and homework are set for the upcoming lesson.
As co-president of her school's medical society, she supported those interested in applying to medicine, hence Unsa is happy to mentor medical applicants as well. She achieved a Gold and Best in School certificate for the Junior Maths Challenge and a Bronze for the Intermediate Maths Challenge. She is currently a member of the Dermatology, Endocrinology and Obstetrics & Gynaecology Society at her university.
