About Kulsuma
Kulsuma is a fourth-year medical student at the University of Sheffield with two years of experience tutoring GCSE Science and Mathematics. She delivers engaging, interactive sessions tailored to individual needs, with lessons planned in advance and adapted based on student progress. Her evidence-based teaching approach emphasises active learning through a “see it, do it” framework, combining clear explanations, worked examples, and past paper practice to develop strong exam technique. Sessions conclude with targeted homework, which is reviewed at the start of the next lesson.
