About Silvia
Silvia is a qualified lawyer and PGCE-trained teacher who tutors Economics, Business and Law, alongside Sociology, Politics and English, at GCSE and A-level. She holds a PGCE from University College London and an LLB (Hons) in Law from King's College London, and trained and qualified as a lawyer at an international firm.
She has delivered hundreds of one-to-one online lessons across the major exam boards. Silvia teaches Socratically, drawing each answer out of the student rather than lecturing, and tailors every session to the exact specification and mark scheme so that students learn to write for the examiner in front of them. Calm, encouraging and exam-focused, she is happiest when a nervous student starts to see the patterns and their confidence follows.
