Biography

About George

George has always enjoyed maths and science. Having studied engineering at university and recently completed his PhD, he is keen to share his knowledge and help younger students develop the same enthusiasm for these subjects.

His approach is about understanding, not just memorising. He helps students get to grips with the ideas behind what they are learning, so they can work through exam questions with confidence rather than rely on rehearsed answers.

George brings both professional and informal tutoring experience. At Sheffield International College, he taught Chemistry and Physics to students preparing for university study. He also worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Sheffield, supporting chemical engineering teaching and practical sessions.
