Biography

About Annie

Annie is currently undertaking the TeachFirst Training program, working at a school in Oxford as a Secondary English Teacher and studying for a PGCE.

Last year, she graduated with a First Class degree in Modern and Medieval Languages (specifically Spanish and French) from the University of Cambridge. This course combined her love of learning languages with her love of literature and history, as well as sports and politics due to the diverse nature of the discussions students have in their target languages and of the papers within the course itself.

Annie initially studied Law at the university of Cambridge for a short while, but this didn’t fit her creative passion and was simply not the right fit for her. Therefore, she switched to MML, a far more interesting option. Quick fact, this does mean she can help with both Law and Modern Language applications!

In her spare time, Annie was a member of the Cambridge University DanceSport team, representing the university both at home and abroad. She was also president of her college's FemSoc, organizing talks on all areas of feminism and gender.
