Lakshika Nandakumar

Currently pursuing a degree in medicine at the University of Birmingham, Lakshika brings a wealth of knowledge and a passion for teaching to her tutoring sessions, especially in Mathematics in which she has four years of experience in tutoring students from diverse backgrounds and learning styles.

Whether guiding primary schoolers through foundational concepts or assisting secondary students with complex topics, Lakshika excels in creating engaging and supportive learning environments which has been proven to work as her previous students have all achieved a grade 7 or above at GCSE.

Lakshika Nandakumar is a Mathematics Specialist and a dedicated maths tutor who supports students with Key Stage 3 and GCSE Mathematics. She is currently studying for her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Birmingham, and brings strong academic foundations to her tuition. Lakshika achieved A, A, A in Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics at A-Level, and earned 3 A**s, 6 A*s, and an A at GCSE, including A**s in Mathematics and Further Mathematics.

With over two years’ experience tutoring GCSE students, Lakshika focuses on building clear understanding and confidence, whether a student needs help securing the basics or tackling more challenging topics. Her sessions are designed to be engaging and supportive, and she works with students from a range of backgrounds and learning styles. Many of her previous GCSE students have achieved grade 7 or above.

Lakshika charges £25.00 per hour. After each session, she provides a lesson report, and homework can also be arranged free of charge to help students stay on track between lessons.
