About Jacob

Jacob is currently preparing for his PhD, after having finished his Bachelor's Degree from Oxford in Ancient and Modern History, as well as his Master's Degree at St Andrews in Medieval History. During his time studying he began tutoring, having accumulated 3 years' worth of experience. He largely tutors History and English (language or literature) at A-Level to KS3, but can also teach Sociology at A-Level.

Jacob has an immense passion for learning. He believes that all students can achieve, and even exceed, the expectations of those around them. He believes that, as a tutor, his responsibility is not only to help students achieve their desired grades, but also to establish a genuine interest in academics amongst them.
