About Anthony
Tony first discovered his passion for language learning during his first German lesson and immediately set off on a path to become a Modern Foreign Languages teacher. He has now been teaching German, French and Spanish for 24 years and has 8 years experience as a Head of Modern Foreign Languages in a disadvantaged secondary school.
He began tutoring in 2018 and has worked with students of all abilities, each with their own specific need, whether it be a lack of confidence, a desire to push for the very top grades or simply a need to reignite their love of learning which could have been lost in the secondary school environment. Tony ensures that these needs are at the centre of all tutoring lessons and creates learning plans that make sure learning is fun and that students are free to make mistakes and learn from them on their journey to their long term goal.
In addition to GCSE Language tutoring (in German, Spanish and French), Tony also has experience tutoring KS2 and KS3 students and in supporting students in maximising their Foundation Maths GCSE results.

Anthony is a qualified Modern Foreign Languages teacher with 24 years of experience teaching German, French and Spanish. He holds a PGCE and a German and Business Studies degree from the University of Warwick, and spent eight years as Head of Modern Foreign Languages in a secondary school. Anthony teaches French, German and Spanish from KS2 through to GCSE and iGCSE, as well as adult learners.
